What kind of training in digital history do our students need? We are seeing a shift where technical skills that used to be outsourced are now being expected of new hires in fields like museums, libraries, and archives. Given that members our own faculty are not trained as digital historians and given how difficult it is to collaborate with other departments, colleges, and units where those skills are more likely to exist, what do we need to be teaching our students and how do we implement that program?
