Elizabeth Haven Hawley
I worked in the printing industry before going to graduate school to study the history of technology. My personal research focuses on how technological change affects marginalized communities -- especially in their access to communication technologies. As program director at the Immigration History Research Center (University of Minnesota), I collaborate with immigrant and refugee communities to help them preserve their heritage. I also work with and advise volunteers and scholars interested in studying migraiton experiences and/or documenting communities. www.ihrc.umn.edu
